CAUTION: Avoid personal injury. Make sure that everyone is clear of tractor.

1. Park tractor on level ground.

2. Fully depress clutch and brake pedals.

3. Shut off tractor.

4. Move reverser lever (A) to any position except NEUTRAL or PARK position.

5. NOTE: Engine should start in NEUTRAL or PARK position only (depending upon transmission type).

   Attempt to start engine. If engine starts in any position other than NEUTRAL or PARK (depending upon transmission type), neutral start system should be repaired. See your John Deere™ dealer immediately.
