Using Rear Wheel Weights

A - Weights
When installing weights, use appropriate equipment or have
job performed by your John Deere™ dealer.
Weights (A) of 70 kg (154 lb.), 72 kg (159 lb.), 205 kg (452
lb.) or 900 kg (1984 lb.) can be installed on inside or outside of
wheel. 72 kg (159 lb.) weights are starter weights for 205 kg (452
lb.) weights and 70 kg (154 lb.) are used with 900 kg (1984 lb.) weights.
NOTE: When using 762 mm (30 in.) tread setting, only one 205
kg (452 lb.) weight can be installed on inside of wheel.
Install weights on wheel.

For additional weights, install bolts in previous weight. Rotate
alternate weight to align bolts with weight holes.
Tighten bolts and retighten after driving approximately 100
m (110 yd).
Retighten bolts after 3 HOURS and
again after 10 HOURS of operation.
Check tightness every 250 hours.
IMPORTANT: Inside wheel weights must have at least 25 mm (1
in.) clearance between weight and tractor components.
