Access Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Dosing Unit Filter—Final Tier 4 and Stage IV Engines

1. IMPORTANT: Replace every 4500 hours of operation or every 3 years, whichever comes first.

   A - Panel Cap Screws

   B - Panel

   C - DEF Dosing Unit Filter

   D - DEF Tank Vent Filter

   Remove cap screws (A) and panel (B).

2. Replace DEF dosing unit filter (C), located on bottom of dosing unit. See Changing Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Dosing Unit Filter in this section of this Operator’s Manual.

3. Install shield. Tighten cap screws to specification.
