Manual Lowering

Avoid personal injury or death. Do not disconnect any hitch sensors, solenoids, or connectors from hitch control valve when engine is operating or key switch is ON. Unexpected hitch movement can occur. Stay clear of hitch area when starting engine or manually lowering hitch.

Hitch manual lowering is possible when hydraulic pressure and/or electrical power is not available.
