PTO Drive Shaft

   Remove three cap screws (A) and remove PTO shield (B) to access to PTO lubrication fitting. Rotate PTO shaft so fitting can be easily accessed for lubrication.

   Rear PTO Shaft Fitting (WIth Parts Removed)

   Lubricate rear PTO shaft fitting (C). Use John Deere SD Polyurea grease or other grease as specified in Grease in Other Lubricants section of this Operator’s Manual.

3. Reinstall PTO drive shaft shield. Tighten cap screws.

   Drive Shaft Shield Cap Screws	Torque	28 N·m (21 lb·ft)
