Replace Crankshaft Vibration Damper

Crankshaft vibration damper is not repairable. For engines equipped with elastomeric crankshaft vibration damper replace every 4500 hours or 60 months, whichever occurs first. For engines equipped with viscous crankshaft vibration damper replace at major engine overhaul. Also replace viscous crankshaft vibration damper when short block, complete block, or remanufactured basic engine is installed.
