Exhaust Filter — Diesel Particulate Filter Ash Handling and Disposal

CAUTION: Your Governing Bodies Regulations may classify diesel particulate filter ash as a hazardous waste. Hazardous wastes therefore must be disposed of in accordance with all applicable Governing Bodies Regulations governing hazardous waste disposal. Only a qualified service provider should remove ash from the DPF. Personal protective equipment and clothing, maintained in a sanitary and reliable condition, should be used when handling and cleaning a DPF.
