  • Service fire extinguisher.
  • Service battery.
  • Change engine oil and oil filter.1 2
  • Check coolant pump weep hole.
  • Check open crankcase ventilation (OCV).
  • Check air intake hoses, connections, and system.
  • Replace fuel filters.
  • Check automatic belt tensioner and belt wear.
  • Pressure test cooling system and radiator cap.
  • Check and adjust engine speeds.
  • Check engine mounts.
  • Check engine ground connection.

1 During engine break-in, change the oil and filter for the first time after a minimum of 100 hours of operation (500 hours maximum).
