Adjusting Cutting Height

CAUTION: Rotating blades are dangerous. Before adjusting or servicing mower:

  • Push down on Stop button and push main switch to OFF position. Confirm user interface and all LED’s are off.
  • Always wear gloves when working near blades.

Mower blade cutting height can be adjusted from 19 mm (0.75 in.) to 102 mm (4 in.) in 14 mm (0.55 in.) increments.

  1. Push down on the Stop button.

  2. Push the main switch to the OFF position.

  3. Place a soft cloth on a work surface to protect the mower, and turn the mower on its side with the main switch on the top.

    Grasp the blade shield (A) and rotate to adjust cutting height.

    • Rotate blade shield clockwise to raise blade height.
    • Rotate blade shield counter clockwise to lower blade height.


  5. Rotate the blade shield to the desired height shown on the height of cut label on the mower.

  6. Adjust cutting height to a detent position to hold selected cutting height.

    The height adjust label (B) is provided as a guide to the approximate cut height. The edge of the blade shield should align with letters when it is adjusted to a detent position. See following table for approximate height settings. The lowest two detent positions occur below the bottom of the label.
