Cleaning the Mower

CAUTION: Rotating blades are dangerous. Before adjusting or servicing mower:

• Push down on Stop button and push main switch to OFF position. Confirm user interface and all LED’s are off.
• Always wear gloves when working near blades.

IMPORTANT: Do not use high pressure spray or running water on the mower. This may result in damage to electrical components.

Do not wash mower handle. Water may get into vents on handle and damage mower.

1. Place mower on a flat surface and push main switch to the OFF position. (See Stopping Safely in the Safety Section.)

2. Let machine cool if it has been operating in hot conditions. If any moisture is suspected to be on top of the blade shield or in the mower, do not tilt mower or turn mower over, but allow the mower to rest on its wheels until fully dry.

3. Turn mower onto its side with blades facing outward, away from your body.

4. Clean the blades with a brush and damp cloth.

5. Clean the underside of the mower with a soft bristle brush or cloth as needed for your mowing conditions.

6. Return the mower to upright, operating position.

7. IMPORTANT: Improper care of machine plastic surfaces can damage that surface:

   • Do not wipe plastic surfaces when they are dry. Dry wiping will result in minor surface scratches. Use a damp, soft cloth.
   • Use a soft, clean cloth.
   • Do not use abrasive materials, such as polishing compounds, anywhere on mower.
   
   

   Use mild soap to clean plastic surfaces. Wipe off with a damp cloth.

8. Wipe off with a soft cloth to bring out lustre.

9. Clean the charging station and charging contacts with a damp cloth.
