Preparing for Winter Storage

NOTE: Dealer service is recommended at the end of the mowing season before storing the machine.

It is important to prepare the machine for storage to extend battery life. Mower date and time information will be lost.

1. Remove mower from charging station.

2. Discharge the battery state of charge to 40-60% by mowing or charging.

3. Use the Utilities menu to put the mower in Mower Storage mode. Check to be sure the main switch is moved to the OFF position.

4. Clean the mower and the charging station.

5. Store mower and charging station components separate from each other in a dry, dust-free area out of the reach of children. Do not store mower in the charging station.

6. Check the resistance levels of the boundary and guide loop wires with a multi-meter at the end of each mowing season and at the beginning of the following mowing season for any changes to resistance. Contact your dealer if you note any changes.
