Preparing for Winter Storage

NOTE: Dealer service is recommended at the end of the mowing season before storing the machine.

It is important to prepare the machine for storage to extend battery life.

Boundary wire and guide loop signal strength are vital to proper robotic mower performance. Check and record boundary and guide loop wire resistance at the end of each mowing season. Check resistance again at the beginning of the following mowing season to detect any changes. Contact your dealer for assistance with off season storage and maintenance of the robotic mower system.

1. Remove mower from charging station.

2. Discharge the battery state of charge to 40-60% by mowing or charging.

3. NOTE: Mower date and time information are lost in going to storage mode. Date and time information must be entered as a part of mowing season preparation.

   Put the mower in Mower Storage mode. Make sure that the main switch is in the OFF position.

4. Clean the mower and the charging station.

5. Store mower and charging station components separate from each other in a dry, dust-free area out of the reach of children.

6. Do not store mower in the charging station.

7. Do not store mower with the original cloth cover.
