Using a Connected Device with Mobile App

NOTE: Mobile App indicates information regarding programming or manual operation of the mower through a connected mobile device with mobile app.

A - OTG Cable

Some aspects of mower programming or operation can be controlled through a connected compatible mobile device. The mower must have software edition 4.2 or higher installed. Mower software upgrade is available through your dealer.

The mobile device must have Android™ Operating System edition 4.0+, with USB host capability. The mobile device must have the mobile app installed. Search for Tango™ on the Google Play™ store, and download the mobile app to your device.

The mower is connected with USB cable JDG11590 for MY 2013 and 2015 mowers (1SA1312, 1 SA1318, 1SA1512 or 1 SA1518). The USB cable must be 1.5 m long. A USB On-The-Go (OTG) cable (A) connects the USB cable to the mobile device.

USB cable JDG11590 can be obtained commercially or through your dealer. An OTG cable can be obtained commercially.

Mobile App: Mobile App Connection

IMPORTANT: Avoid Damage! Install the connecting cable to the mower port before connection to the mobile device. Connection in this order is necessary to protect from possible electrical grounding feedback.

   C - OTG Cable

   For MY 2013 and 2015 mowers (1SA1312, 1 SA1318, 1SA1512 or 1 SA1518), install USB cable JDG11590 (B) directly to mower service connection.

3. Install USB cable (B) to OTG cable (C).

4. Install OTG cable to mobile device port.
