Cleaning the Mower

IMPORTANT: Do not use pressurized or running water on the mower. Water results in damage to electrical components.

Do not wash mower handle. Water can enter vents in handle and damage mower.

1. Stop machine safely. (See Stopping Safely in the Safety Section.)

2. Let machine cool if it has been operating in hot conditions.

3. Do not tilt mower if any moisture is suspected to be on top of the blade shield or in the mower. Allow the mower to rest on its wheels until fully dry.

4. Turn mower onto its side with blade facing outward, away from your body.

5. CAUTION: Avoid injury! Blades are sharp. Always wear gloves when handling blades or working near blades.

   Clean the blades with a brush and damp cloth.

6. Clean the underside of the mower with a soft bristle brush or cloth as needed for your mowing conditions.

7. Return the mower to upright, operating position.

8. IMPORTANT: Improper care of machine plastic surfaces can damage surfaces:

   Clean exterior surfaces.

   • Do not wipe plastic surfaces when they are dry. Dry wiping results in minor surface scratches. Use a damp, soft cloth.
   • Do not use abrasive materials, such as polishing compounds, anywhere on mower.
   • Clean plastic surfaces with mild soap. Wipe off with a damp, soft cloth.
   • Wipe off with a soft cloth to bring out lustre.
   
   

9. CAUTION: Avoid injury! Edges of charging station plates may be sharp. Always wear gloves whenever touching or working near charging station plates.

   Clean the charging station and charging contacts with a damp cloth.
