   A - Hand Throttle

   B - 540E Operation Speed

   C - 540 Standard Operation Speed

   D - PTO Lever

   For 2400 rpm :

   Start engine and push hand throttle (A) forward until the tachometer indicates PTO rated speed of 1705 rpm (B) for 540E operation or 2376 rpm (C) for standard 540 operation.

   For (2100 rpm :

   Start engine and push hand throttle (A) forward until the tachometer indicates PTO rated speed of 1588 rpm (B) for 540E operation or 2083 rpm (C) for standard 540 operation.

2. NOTE: When standard PTO lever engaged, an indicator will glow on the instrument cluster.

   Move PTO lever (D) forward to engage standard PTO and move lever one step back to achieve neutral position.

3. Move PTO lever (D) backward to engage economy PTO and move lever one step ahead to achieve neutral position.

   CAUTION: CAUTION: Turn key OFF to stop engine, put tractor in park position and make sure that all mechanisms have stopped before cleaning out machine or making any adjustments to PTO driven implement.
