Check Transmission-Hydraulic System Oil Level

NOTE: Dipstick is provided to the tractors with Dual PTO option and sight glass is provided to the tractors with Reverse PTO option.


With Dipstick

    A - Transmission-Hydraulic Oil Dipstick

    Remove dipstick (A) and wipe it clean. Insert dipstick fully. Oil level to be between the full mark and end of dipstick.



  2. Add oil if level is low. (See Anti-Chatter Transmission/Hydraulic Oil in Fuels, Lubricants, and Coolant section.)


With Sight Glass

    For Dual Clutch Dual PTO Variants

    B - Hydraulic Oil Full Level Mark

    C - Hydraulic Oil Low-Level Mark

    Park tractor on level ground. Put gearshift lever in NEUTRAL- N, set brakes and turn engine OFF.



  2. Wait a minimum of five minutes for oil to settle.

  3. Check level at sight glass. Make sure that the oil level is full in the level mark (C) as shown.

    NOTE: As long as Lower window is full, there is no requirement for oil top- up. Upper window is the full level, beyond that oil is not to be filled

  4. Add oil to the filler port  if lower glass window (C) shows an empty space. (See Anti-Chatter Transmission/Hydraulic Oil in Fuels, Lubricants, and Coolant section.)
