operate engine in a building, be positive there is adequate ventilation.
Either use an exhaust pipe extension to remove the exhaust fumes or
open doors and windows to bring enough outside air into the area.
-
Check fuel gauge to be sure that tractor has plenty of fuel.
-
For Single Clutch Single PTO (SCSP) If Equipped: Place gearshift lever (A) in park position (P), range shift lever

and PTO lever (G) in DCDP but PTO will not operate. For operation
of PTO, reset the PTO knob to OFF position (if it is in ON position)
and then to ON position.
-
Place rockshaft control levers (D and E) in lowered position
and SCV lever (F) in neutral position.

If any indicator does not function properly, see your John Deere
dealer.

Contact John Deere dealer to repair the same. The STOP sign and buzzer
sound should both turn off as the Engine starts running above idle
RPM.
NOTE: Stop indicator and buzzer may appear intermittently below
low idle ERPM.
While Engine is running above idle RPM- STOP Indicator Illuminates
and Buzzer sounds at the same time. Shutoff engine IMMEDIATELY contact
John Deere dealer.
