Clean and Check Battery

A - Negative (-) Terminal

B - Positive (+) Terminal

To access battery. (See procedure in Service section.)

Engage PARKING brake, set brakes and pull fuel shut-off knob to turn engine OFF. Wipe battery with a damp cloth. Clean and tighten connections if needed. Check fluid level in each cell, fill to bottom of filler neck with clean mineral-free water. (See Service Battery in Service section.)
