CAUTION: Prevent asphyxiation. Engine exhaust fumes can cause sickness or death to you or someone else.

If you must operate engine in a building, be positive there is adequate ventilation. Either use an exhaust pipe extension to remove the exhaust fumes or open doors and windows to bring enough outside air into the area.

NOTE: Floor mat is applicable for 5310, 5405, 5210, 5210 GearPro 4WD V1 models with TSS transmission.

  1. Check fuel gauge to be sure that tractor has plenty of fuel.

  2. Place gearshift lever (A) in park position (P), range shift lever (B) in NEUTRAL (N), and PTO lever (C) in NEUTRAL (N) position. Starter will not operate if gearshift lever and PTO lever are not in these positions.

  3. Place rockshaft control levers (D and E) in lowered position and SCV lever (F) in neutral position.

  4. NOTE: Instrument cluster must illuminate neutral indicator light.

Check indicator lights. Indicators illuminate when the key switch is turned to the ON position.
