Remove Battery

A - Negative (—) Cable Nut

B - Positive (+) Cable Nut

1. CAUTION: To avoid sparks, disconnect negative (ground) cable first and connect it last.

   Remove negative (ground) battery cable (A) and remove the cable connection. Then remove positive cable (B) and connection.

   Loosen nuts securing battery hold-down and rotate the holder down, freeing the battery.

2. Lift and slide the battery from the battery tray.
