For Collar Reverser Transmission: Forward-reverse lever (A)
and PTO lever (C) are in neutral position.
CAUTION: If starter turns engine in any of the following steps,
have the neutral start system repaired by your John Deere dealer.
Turning the key switch to the start position should NOT start
the engine, if either of the following exist:
-
For Sync Reverser Transmission: Engine will not start if range
shift lever (B) and PTO lever (C) are not in neutral position.
-
For Collar Reverser Transmission: Engine will not start if forward-reverse
lever (A) and PTO lever (C) are not in neutral position.
