Observe Engine Operation Closely

IMPORTANT: The engine is ready for normal operation. Be extra cautious during the first 100 hours, until you become thoroughly familiar with the sound and feel of your new tractor. Stay extra attentive and alert.

    H - High Beam

    I - RPM/Hour Meter

    J - Park Brake

    K - PTO Indicator

    Warm up tractor carefully. Check battery charge indicator (A), oil pressure indicator (B), coolant temperature gauge (C), warning indicators (D and E), fuel gauge (F), engine air flow (G) high beam (H), RPM/Hour meter (I), park brake (J), and PTO Indicator (K).



  2. Avoid unnecessary engine idling.

  3. Check engine oil, coolant, transmission/hydraulic, and mechanical front wheel drive (if equipped) fluid levels frequently. Watch for fluid leaks.

    NOTE: If engine oil must be added, use seasonal viscosity grade oil. Use only lubricants meeting specifications given in the Fuels, Lubricants, and Coolant section.
