   C - Spring

   D - Stay Rod, Hood

   E - Clevis Pin

   F - Bracket, Hood Hinge

   Pull hood latch release (A) out to unlock hood.

2. Raise hood (B) till the stay rod (D) engages into the hood hinge bracket (F) and holds the hood as shown.

3. The stay rod (D) consist of spring (C), mounted on the hood (B) with the help of clevis pin (E).
