Periodic Maintenance Schedule

Service Interval Chart—After Initial 50, 100 Hours / Every 50, 250, 500, 600, 1000, 1250, 1500 and 2000 Hours

Periodic maintenance is important to keep the machine in good operating condition. The following is a summary of maintenance items by periodic maintenance intervals.

Periodic maintenance intervals vary depending on engine application, loads, diesel fuel and engine oil used and are hard to establish definitively.

The following should be treated only as a general guideline.

Check and Adjust Cooling Fan V- Belt.

 

   

           

Drain Water Separator.

   

               

Check Battery.

   

               

Clutch Pedal Free Play Adjustment

   

               

Lubricate Clutch and Brake Pedal

   

               

Lubricate Hitch Components

   

               

Lubricate Hood Latch

   

               

Check MFWD Axle Oil Level

   

               

Lubricate Front Axle Grease Zerk Locations

   

               

Check Wheel Nut Torque

   

               

Replace Engine Oil and Engine Oil Filter.

     

           

Change Transmission-Hydraulic Oil Filter

     

 

         

Change MFWD Axle Oil

     

   

       

Drain Fuel Tank.

       

           

Check and Clean Radiator Fins.

       

           

Check and Adjust the Governor Lever and Engine Speed Control.

       

           

Clean Air Cleaner Element.

       

           

Check and Adjust Brake Pedal Free Play

       

           

Check Tightness of hoses & clamps (Fuel, Air Cooling System)

       

           

Check Neutral Start System

       

           

Replace Fuel Filter.

         

         

Clean Water Separator.

Replace Air Cleaner Elements (Primary)

             

     

Adjust Intake/Exhaust Valve Clearance if required.

             

     

Change Transmission-Hydraulic Oil and Filter

               

   

Inspect, Clean and Test Fuel Injectors.

                 

 

Inspect Crankcase Breather System.

                 

 

Check and Replace Fuel Hoses and Engine Coolant Hoses.

                   

Drain Cooling System1

                   

Flush Cooling System1

                   

Refill Cooling System with New Coolant1

                   

Lap the Intake and Exhaust Valves.
