Using Rear Power-Take-Off (PTO)

IMPORTANT: Avoid Damage! Use rear mounted equipment rated PTO rpm. Do not operate PTO over rated rpm mark on tachometer.

NOTE: Don't operate the PTO when the operator is not available on the seat.


Engaging the PTO

    A - PTO Lever

    B - Bracket

    C - Engage PTO at 540E rpm

    D - PTO at Neutral Position

    E - Engage PTO at 540 rpm

    F - PTO Switch

    Sit on operator seat.



  2. Stop machine in motion.

  3. Reduce throttle setting to 950 rpm (Low Idle Speed).

  4. To engage standard PTO 540 rpm, slide PTO Lever (A) towards right and then rearward (E) and set the engine rpm to 2500 ERPM

  5. To obtain 540E PTO (Economy mode), slide PTO lever (A) towards left and then move forward to engage at 540E PTO (C) and set the engine rpm to 1925 ERPM.


Disengaging the PTO

  1. Adjust engine to 950 rpm (Low Idle Speed).

  2. To disengage PTO, move PTO lever (A) to NEUTRAL position (D) from forward or rearward PTO engaged position.
