1. IMPORTANT: Change MFWD axle oil after the first 100 hours of operation and then at every 600 hours of operation thereafter.

   Park the tractor on a level surface. Engage park brake.

2. Remove oil drain plugs (A) as shown.

3. After oil has drained, apply pipe sealant with teflon, or equivalent, to threads of plug (A).

4. Install plugs (A) and (C) and tighten to specifications.

5. Add oil through the oil fill plug (B). Use John Deere J20C oil or its equivalent. For more details see section Fuels, Lubricants and Coolant.
