A - Tie Rod Jam Nut

B - Tie Rod Tube

1. Loosen tie rod jam nut (A) on both ball joints.

2. Rotate tie rod tube (B) clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the amount of toe-in. Adjust tie rod until toe-in set to 0—3 mm.

   - Rotating threaded rod in 1/2 turn increments equals 1.5 mm (1/16 in.)

3. Tighten the bolt to specification. Do not overtighten, it damages the tube.

4. Check toe-in setting. Repeat procedure if further adjustment is required.
