Check MFWD Axle Oil Level

   A - Oil Inspection/Fill Plug

   B - MIN level

   C - MAX level

   Park the tractor on a level surface. Engage park brake.

2. Allow axle oil one hour to settle before checking level to ensure accurate dipstick reading.

3. Remove Fill Plug (A) and verify that the oil level is between the MIN level (B) and MAX level (C) on the dipstick.

4. If oil level is low, add oil into the dipstick opening. Use John Deere J20C oil or its equivalent. For more details see Fuels, Lubricants and Coolant section.

5. Install oil fill plug (A) and tighten to specifications.
