Coolant Temperature Gauge

APY09887-UN-02JUL18
A - Coolant Temperature Gauge
The needle on the coolant temperature gauge (A) rises as
the engine warms up. If the needle reaches red zone, STOP the engine
and determine the cause.
CAUTION: DO NOT remove radiator cap or drain coolant until coolant
is cold. Always loosen radiator cap slowly to relieve any excess pressure.
Check coolant level in radiator when engine cools. Also check
grille, radiator, and radiator front screens for clogging. Check fan
belt tension. If the problem is not resolved, visit your John Deere
dealer.
