B - Oil Inspection/Fill Plug

C - Trumpet Oil Drain Plug

1. IMPORTANT: Change MFWD axle oil after the first 100 hours of operation and then at every 600 hours of operation thereafter.

   Park the tractor on a level surface. Apply the park brake.

2. Remove knuckle oil drain plugs (A).

   Light-Duty MFWD Assembly Axle Oil - DANA	Capacity	3.8 L (1.0 gal)

3. After oil has drained, apply pipe sealant with teflon, or equivalent, to threads of knuckle oil drain plugs (A).

4. Install plugs (A) and (C) and tighten to specifications.

5. Add oil through the oil fill plug (B). Use John Deere J20C oil or its equivalent. For more details see Fuels, Lubricants and Coolant section.
