Use grease based on NLGI consistency numbers and the expected air temperature range during the service interval.

The following greases are preferred:

• John Deere HD POLYUREA GREASE

The following greases are also recommended:

• John Deere HD MOLY GREASE

• John Deere HD LITHIUM COMPLEX GREASE

• John Deere HD WATER RESISTANT GREASE

• John Deere GREASE-GARD

Other greases may be used if they meet the following:

NLGI Performance Classification GC-LB

IMPORTANT: Some types of grease thickener are not compatible with others.
