Use oil viscosity based on the expected air temperature range during the period between oil changes.

The following oil is preferred.

• Plus-50™

The following oil is recommended.

•Torq-Gard Supreme™

Other oils may be used if they meet one or more of the following:

• API Service Classification CH-4

This oil has special properties for lubricants that meet API CG-4, API CF-4 and API CF.

• ACEA Specification E3

• ACEA Specification E2

Multy-viscosity diesel engine oils are preferred

If diesel fuel with sulfur content greater than 0.5% is used, reduce the service interval by 50%.

Extended service intervals may apply when John Deere preferred engine oils are used. Consult your John Deere dealer for more information.
