Checking Tires

  1. Check tires daily for damage or noticeably low pressure.

  2. Have any cuts or breaks repaired as soon as possible.

  3. Protect tires to exposure to sunlight, petroleum products and chemicals.

  4. Drive carefully. Try to avoid rocks and sharp objects.

    IMPORTANT: Minimum pressure may be used for light loads and only if Tractor has no added weight. If you install ballast or mounted implements, or if you pull heavy loads, increase pressure.

  5. At least every 100 hours of operation, check tires with an accurate gauge having 10 kPa (0.1 bar) (1 psi) graduations. If tires contain liquid ballast, use a special air-water gauge and measure with valve steam at bottom.
