   A - Tie Rod

   B - Inner Rod

   C - Tie Rod Jam Nut

   Loosen tie rod jam nut (C) on left and right tie rods (A).

2. Adjust left and right sides equally by rotating the inner rod (B) to lengthen or shorten tie rod, as needed to obtain toe-in of 3—6 mm (1/8—1/4 in.).

   Tie Rod Rotation	Approximate Change in Toe-in
   1/2 turn	8 mm (5/16 in.)
   1 turn	16 mm (5/8 in.)

3. Tighten jam nuts to specification.
