A - Breather

B - Drain Plug

C - Filler Plug

Service Intervals:

• At First 100 hours • Every 1000 hours

IMPORTANT: Only use an oil that is approved for this axle type.

1. Park tractor on a level surface.

2. Before draining the oil from axle housing, use breather (A) to release possible internal pressure.

3. Remove plug (B) and drain oil.

4. Clean and install plug (B). Tighten to specification.

   Item	Measurement	Specification
   MFWD Drain Plug	Torque	70 N•m (52 lb-ft)

5. Remove plug (C) and fill with GL5 John Deere gear oil until oil level reaches the bottom edge of hole.

6. Install plug (C). Tighten to specification.
