Redo procedure for starting or turn off PTO.

 

Lack of fuel

Fill tank with fuel.

Purge (bleed air) from filter and final fuel filter

Push manual pump downwards.

 

Oil in crankcase too viscous

Use correct oil viscosity.

 

Water, dirt or air in fuel system.

Drain, clean, fill and bleed the system.

 

Plugged fuel filter

Replace filter element.

 

Dirty or faulty injectors

See your John Deere Dealer.

 

Fuel shut-off valve closed

Open fuel shut-off valve

Engine knocks

Lack of engine oil

Replenish oil to proper level.
