Front-Wheel Bearing 4X2 Assembly

A - Cover
B - Retaining Nut
C - Cotter Pin
D - Outer Bearing
E - Wheel Hub
F - Inner Bearing

Unfasten front wheel attaching bolt.

Raise front end of tractor.
CAUTION: Prop up tractor safely before removing wheel.

Remove wheel.

Remove cover (A), cotter pin (C) and nut (B) to remove wheel
hub (E).

Cover inner bearing (F) and outer bearing (D) with multi-use
grease. (See section Fuel, Lubricants and Coolant.)

Install hub assembly and retaining nut. Tighten nut until a
slight resistance is felt when turning hub. Loosen nut again sufficiently
to install cotter pin in hole of spindle.

Apply flexible gasket to mating surfaces of cover (A) and hub
(E). Install cover.

Install hub cover and wheels. Torque bolts to specification.
Tighten bolts again after driving tractor over 100 m and again after
three to ten hours of operation.
NOTE: Tighten retaining nut until a slight resistance is felt
when turning hub. Loosen nut again sufficiently to install cotter
pin in axle bore.
