A - Differential housing drain

B - Oil level filling mark

C - Drain/Filler cap

  1. Park tractor on flat and level terrain to be sure oil level checks are correct when filling.
  2. Remove drain plug from differential housing and wheel hub (C). When draining the wheel hubs, turn them so the draining orifice faces downwards. Drain oil, put back plugs and turn wheels so that oil level mark is level with ground.
  3. Fill up differential housing (C) and wheel hubs with John Deere SAE 90 oil (See "Fuel, Lubricants and Coolant" Section). Fill hub to mark (B).
  4. Tighten plugs to 150 N.m (105 lb-ft).
