Using Liquid Ballast in Tires

CQ199670-UN-04SEP00
25% water, valve at 6 o'clock position

CQ199650-UN-01SEP00
45% water, valve at 4 o'clock position

LX009450-UN-03JAN95
75% water, valve at 12 o'clock position
Up to 75% of tire capacity may be used for liquid ballast.
-
Never use more than 75% of tire capacity for liquid ballast
in front tires, otherwise the available space for tire deformation
will be excessively reduced, causing hardening and subsequent damage
to tire.
-
To ballast front and rear tires at 75%, position tire valve
in upper position (12 o'clock).
