Removing Air Filter Primary Insert

A - Rubber strap

C - Primary filter insert

1. Open the hood.
2. Remove clips (B) and remove filter cover.
3. Turn primary insert counterclockwise to unlock. Remove primary filter.
4. Clean internal housing dirt taking care not to damage secondary insert.

   IMPORTANT: Never try to clean safety (secondary) insert. Always replace with new insert.

   If it is necessary to replace the secondary insert, install a new insert immediately to prevent dust entering the air intake system.
