Replacing Air Filter Inserts

A - Clips

B - Cover

C - Filter insert (primary)

D - Safety (secondary) insert

1. Open the hood.

2. Unfasten clips (A).

3. Remove cover (B).

4. Remove primary filter (C) turning counterclockwise.

5. Clean internal housing dirt taking care not to damage secondary insert.

   IMPORTANT: Remove secondary insert ONLY if you are replacing it. NEVER try to clean secondary insert, always replace it with a new one. If it is necessary to replace the secondary insert, install a new insert immediately to prevent dust entering the air intake system.

6. Remove secondary filter (D).

7. Install secondary filter, primary filter and cover. After installing primary filter (C), turn clockwise to secure in place.

8. Close hood.
