Changing Engine Oil Filter and Oil

NOTE: Change oil and filter at least once a year.

1. Run engine to warm up oil, then turn off engine.
2. Remove drain plug (A) of crankcase and drain the oil.
3. Change engine oil filter (B) during the oil change. Apply fine film of oil to new filter before installing it. Tighten an additional 1/2 turn, by hand.
4. Close drain plug (A) again.
5. Add recommended oil. (See "Fuel, Lubricants, Coolant" section.)

Engine crankcase capacity: 12 liters (3.17 U.S.gal.)

IMPORTANT: Change engine oil and oil filter after 100 working hours. After, change every 250 hours or one year, whichever occurs first.

NOTE: The interval can be extended from 250 to 375 hours if JD Plus-50 oil, or ACEA classification oil E4, E5, E6 and E7 is used.
