Ballasting - Optimizing the Tractor

When selecting counterweights, it is important to obey to maximum permissible axle loads and not to exceed maximum weight of machine, including mounted implements. To do so, see (Specifications—Section).

Tractor safety and performance depend on correct ballasting of front axle (front counterweights) and rear axle (counterweights and water ballasting of tires).

Do not operate with excessive ballasting. This consumes more fuel, causes more tire wear, compacts the soil more, as well as causing other inconvenience.
