Slip Rate
To improve tractor performance, calibration pressures should
be properly adjusted to allow for maximum traction and minimum soil
compaction.
Pressure on the ground (soil compaction) should be from 0,20
to 0,27 bar (3 to 4 psi) above tire calibration pressure (in case
of bias tires).
Consult Tire Calibration Pressure Chart to determine
appropriate calibration pressure.
Make sure that tire load capacity is not exceeded when
ballast is added. Also check liquid ballasting weight table, see Using
Liquid Ballast in Tires.
