A - Implement
B - Hitch Arms
C - Hitch Pins
Make sure that the drawbar does not cause interference and,
if necessary, move drawbar forward or even remove it. Check to ensure
there are no more points of possible interference.
Avoid sudden pick-up hitch movements by setting draft
control lever forward (disengaged position) before coupling an implement
to the 3-point hitch.
-
Backup tractor in direction of implement (A) so that hitch points
are aligned. Set transmission to Park position P and shut off engine before you leave the operator's station.
-
Hook up hitch arms (B) to implement pins (C) and secure using
locking pins. First hook up the side without adjusting crank.
Locking pins can remain in hitch arms while not in use.
