Engines with Turbocharger

Most damage to the turbocharger is caused by not following the
correct procedure when starting and shutting off the engine. After
starting up the engine and before shutting it off, let the engine
run for at least 30 seconds without load.
If the engine “stalls” when being operated, restart
it IMMEDIATELY. This will prevent the turbocharger from overheating.
