Deluxe Selective Control Valves

These symbols appear on the Deluxe Selective Control Valve selection dial:

Each selective control valve has selectable functions, used to change lever functions, so as to be able to use them according to the requirements of the implement to be used. The change in functions only affects the Extend and Retract position, there is no influence on the Float position.

The Read Operator's Manual symbol (A) is for reference only and is not a selectable setting.

Selective Control Valve/Selection Dial Position

Control Lever Detent

Selective Control Valve I—Detent mode (C)

Detent with Automatic Disengagement (C)—Lever returns to Neutral position automatically when cylinder reaches end of travel.

Selective Control Valve II—Self-Leveling Loader Mode (Free Actuation) (B)

Self-Leveling Loader Function (Free Actuation) (B)—Lever returns to Neutral position when it is released.

Selective Control Valve III—Continuous Flow Mode (A) for powering motors

Continuous Flow—Holds lever in required position until manually returned to Neutral.

Help prevent personal injury or death caused by objects falling on the operator. When using Deluxe selective control valve to operate self-leveling loader, selection dial must be set to self-leveling loader position (B). Engaging the control lever with selection dial in detent position may cause the loader to raise to full height unexpectedly and the load to fall back on the operator.

To prevent overheating of the hydraulic oil and damage to the tractor, use selective control valve I when continuous operation of motors is required.

Selective control valve II and III can be used in continuous flow mode, but this position should only be used for intermittent applications which do not exceeding 10 min/hr maximum, or hydraulic oil will overheat and damage the tractor.
