Operating the Selective Control Valve Levers

The selective control valve levers have four positions:

  • Extend (B)

    A - Retract Position

    B - Extend Position

    C - Neutral Position

    D - Float Position


  • Neutral (C)
  • Retract (A)
  • Float (D)
  1. To extend the remote cylinder, move selective control valve lever to Extend position (B).

  2. To hold the remote cylinder in its position, move selective control valve lever to Neutral position (C).

  3. To retract the remote cylinder, move selective control valve lever to Retract position (A).

  4. To allow the remote cylinder to move freely, move the selective control lever to Float position (D).

  5. To retract the single action cylinders, move Selective Control Valve lever to Float position (D).

If external valves are used, move Selective Control Valve lever to Neutral position (C) before shutting off each hydraulic function.
