Replacing Activated Carbon Inner Cab Air Filters

Whenever using tractor for spraying crop protection chemicals it is necessary to replace paper filters with activated carbon filters.

Activated carbon filters can NOT be cleaned.

Tractor air-conditioning system filters were not manufactured to retain hazardous chemical products. Follow the instructions in the implement operator's manual and those given by the chemicals manufacturer when using agricultural chemicals.

Cab activated carbon filters are located in the cab roof and are accessed from inside the cab.

  1. Remove cover (A).

  2. Remove wing nut (B) and support (C).

  3. Remove recirculation filter (D).

  4. Install cab activated carbon filter (G).

  5. Install components following reverse order of removal.

  6. Carry out procedure described above on both sides of cab.
