In radial tires, never use more than 40% of tire capacity for liquid ballasting in rear tires and 75% of tire capacity for liquid ballasting in front tires, otherwise space available for tire deformation is excessively reduced thus provoking hardening and subsequent damage to tires.

  • To ballast front and rear tires at 25%, position tire valve in lower position (6 o'clock).
  • To ballast front and rear tires at 40%, position tire valve in lower position (4 o'clock).
  • To ballast front tires at 75%, position tire valve in upper position (12 o'clock). The weights shown in chart below refer to the ballast weight of each tire.
